There truly is a sense of freedom on two wheels. Freedom from the daily routine; freedom from mundane tasks; freedom from knocks on the door, screens or texts.

during our weekend of day trips, 1200km on the motorcycle, we counted over ten drivers who cut us off or pulled out in front of us...and while I enjoy practicing my emergency braking as much as the next guy, six or seven of those were closer than I liked for sure.

If you get caught up in this comparison trap, you might find yourself struggling with feelings of dissatisfaction, frustration, anger and even despair. That doesn’t sound like a good way to live, does it?

There may be nothing as frustrating as living life on someone else’s terms or agenda. So ride your ride, and don’t try to be someone you’re not.

You may have dreams and goals and maybe you’ve already stepped out of your comfort zone and taken steps to see them come to fruition. That’s awesome. Just don’t be surprised that not everyone is going to share your enthusiasm. In fact, they may even attempt to discourage you from moving ahead.

the things that matter to you the most and the decisions that have impacted your life the most are because they included some risk. You proposed…you took that job…you moved to that city…you made that call…you joined that group etc Most aspects of our lives include some risk

Volumes have been written on the value of setting goals; and rightly so. I'm a fan of setting a goal, pushing myself and enjoying the reward of reaching it. The reality is though, reaching a personal goal can be hard. But you already know this don't you?
